I have never watched an “Amazing Race” audition tape. OK so I admit I was a bit hesitant about even watching this one, so I've been putting it off for awhile. I was getting irritated with all the bad reviews. Seriously?? There's very real consequences at play here if Sam and Nate's help backfires. Taking that into consideration, however, I found this to be quite a solid experience. They continue to follow him at an unsafe distance, & the guy in the car realizes that he is being followed & pulls over on the highway. Unfortunately, this was a great idea for a movie that was so unbelievably poorly done that I feel that I should be paid by the director for pain and suffering. Yet another simply putrid 'found footage' film that had me hating life for an hour and a half. NOT ONE THING! After they are done eating, they go in search of it. Which is a shame because when it is not continually repeating the same character complaints of “I’m hungry” or shouting demands of “follow that car,” the dialogue is believably organic. Or if they lose the car they're following. Sam threatens to call the police, he claims he already spoke with them. But, no, they had to break into the kidnapper's house, and get themselves killed. A Waste Of My Time. Despite Nate’s vehement objections, she also forces Nate to follow the other car. After the officer leaves, Sam suggests they find the guy. She tells Sam they can follow the car at a safe distance, they should not make any contact with him. The kidnapper shoots Sam in the back of her head killing her, Nate shoots the man, but also gets shot. The main characters also need to take acting classes or just never act in a movie ever again. This was apparently in the dialogue to increase the believability, but in fact, it makes the viewer want to strangle the stupid female lead SFL (at least in my case) The characters do not do a single thing logically. Sam calls the police. Good movie if you go in with little expectation, it would be more fun to loose a limb than watch this. I see why some viewers may be annoyed by the bickering characters, but I actually found it to be realistic and engaging for the audience! What if it was just a few yards in front of you? They decide to follow the car, and what follows after that is for you to see. The guy asks why he is being followed, & Sam confronts him. Whoever made this movie needs to reevaluate their lives and the way they make movies. I saw the preview for this movie and it looked really interesting!! When writing a review the goal isn't to belittle the movie and try to come up with 'clever' ways to speak badly about the people and their career choices as actors. As it stands though, this movie is little more than frustrating and horrible.
