The process takes 15 mins. I am happy to say that since I have upgraded to JB4 I have yet to find a knock in any of my logs... from 14-18psi. While performance is usually very similar between the two there are a few things the JB4 just can’t do including changing fuel injection timing (exhaust pops and bangs), raising the RPM limiter, adjusting valve timing, and in some cases, raising the speed limiter.

After all the years JBx have been running I cannot see any reason to doubt it's performance. I'm not one to get into which tune produces more knock or not, I'm running a JB4 and like it so, I can't say anything about the V5 since I haven't run it myself.

What’s the deal with the gas mileage claims? JB4 competitors often make false claims of “improved fuel economy” using their tuning systems. I've had the JB1/4 for about 60k km and the only issue I had was when I had an overboost EPC on the track on a very hot day.
