Five years after its finale aired, Parks and Recreation is returning for a brand-new reunion episode. Parks and Recreation charmed the world with seven successful seasons. Ben tells them both that once they have sorted things out, they can call him in on the baby monitor he’s left them with. Parks and Recreation is an American political satire sitcom television series created by Greg Daniels and Michael Schur. Meanwhile, Ron tries to teach the office self-defense, but winds up injuring Andy instead. Leslie and Ben allow their personal issues to overshadow the club’s efforts and are forced to come to an agreement about being friends. Leslie battles with Tom on her first day back with the Parks Department, the gang pranks Ben on his first day as City Manager, and Chris and Ann shop for a ring after their engagement. When Ben and Leslie confess their relationship to Chris, he opens up an official ethics investigation. Chris makes numerous changes to the department that disrupt everyone’s lives and make them miserable, and Ron has to set things right. Ron's honeymoon doesn't go as planned, Leslie gives an unpopular speech at her award ceremony, Andy considers a business proposal, and Tom attempts to compromise with his rival. S6, Ep1.
On Ann and Chris's last night in Pawnee, Leslie throws a grand farewell party and attempts to fulfill one last promise. Chris mediates one final skirmish between Leslie and councilman Jamm, Ben begins a new job as an accountant, and Ron lets Donna and Tom try to sell one of his cabins. When Chris finds out that Tom is using his government job to promote his business, he forces Tom to sell his shares in the Snakehole Lounge. Leslie freaks out, but when Ron forces her to finally get some rest, she wakes up full of new ideas.
Andy writes a theme song for Leslie’s campaign and enlists everyone in the department to sing on the recording. Meanwhile, Andy takes his police officer exam. A cult predicting the end of the world reserves a park, Leslie becomes jealous when another woman takes interest in Ben, Tom throws a huge party for the closing of Entertainment 7Twenty, and Andy and April try to do something stupid. Ah, we’ve reached it: the highest-rated episode of Parks and Rec. They make a gingerbread replica of the office, and also offer to run her campaign so she doesn’t have to quit. After the disastrous rally, Leslie hires Ben to be her new campaign manager. Andy continues to pursue April even though she has a new boyfriend from Venezuela. This 9.1 rated episode came at the end of Season 4 and successfully set up the season after it. Leslie gets put in charge of the Model U.N. at Pawnee Central High School and enlists Ben, April, and Andy to help. Leslie tries to manipulate a new park project to extend her working relationship with Ben, Tom and Jerry work together to create a new department logo, and Andy tries to find the right college course to sign up for. The Rangers are jealous of the Goddesses’ fun camp activities since Ron only wants to teach them wilderness survival. Chris bonds with Andy and April’s dog Champion. The episode brought Season 6 to a satisfying close, wrapping up many running storylines through witty dialogue and scenarios. Leslie insists on giving a big presentation on the Harvest Festival despite being sick, but pulls it off perfectly. The Harvest Festival begins, and Leslie is under a lot of pressure to make sure it goes well so that the Parks Department doesn’t get shut down. And Justin's rude behavior during the entire episode causes Leslie to look at him in a new light. A special reunion episode aired on April 30, 2020. Leslie tries to keep herself busy during her suspension from the department, but gets some bad news about her campaign. Leslie tries to stop a high school punk who vandalizes the park every Halloween, but will he get the last laugh?
