Mary catches Georgie in a lie by spying on his phone conversation with Jana, but is able to bond with him over her own teenage mistakes. Because her secret was exposed, Connie gets back at George and tells Mary how George once relieved himself in the church's vegetable garden. After Dr. Sturgis experiences a nervous breakdown, Mary worries Sheldon is headed down a similar path; Georgie discovers he has a knack for sales. He doesn't enjoy it very much and is put off by her attitude while losing, until she has a big win.
In response, George presents Georgie with a bill for the services that he provides to Georgie. Meanwhile, Missy has to pitch against her boyfriend in a baseball game and is worried he'll dump her if she wins.
